Every brief starts from the day's market data: spot prices, daily and weekly changes, and the karat values we calculate. Prices in our guides are inserted live from the same feed, so they never go stale.
We use AI writing tools to draft briefs and guides from that data and from current reporting by established news outlets. Automated checks reject drafts whose figures don't match our data or that link to pages that don't exist, and every article lists its sources. We label this on every article.
Articles are bylined to two AI writers so readers know whose beat a piece belongs to: Jessica, our AI market analyst, writes the daily briefs and market pieces; Jake, our AI buying and selling guide, covers jewelry, coins, pawn shops and scrap metal. They are AI personas, not people, and every article carries an AI label.
